Stacja Falenica, 25 January. Presentation of the book ‘Architektura drewniana Warszawy. Poradnik dobrych praktyk’

We invite you to the next presentation of the book ‘Architektura drewniana Warszawy. Poradnik dobrych praktyk’. The authors, Iwona Bartnik and Hubert Kosiniec, will be in attendance. Michał Krasucki, Director of the Office of the Capital City Conservator of Monuments, has confirmed his participation in the discussion. The meeting will be moderated by Anna Łazar, who will also share her experiences of renovating her own wooden house.

The book is the result of a competition for the next in a series of guides aimed at residents and users of building stock characteristic of the Warsaw area, announced by the Office of the Capital City Conservator of Monuments at the end of 2021 and concluded in January 2022. The role of publisher fell to the Association for the Support of Research and Conservation Initiatives. The Capital City of Warsaw was also the main co-funding body for the publication of the guide, whilst the project partner was the Swedish brand Ottosson AB, a manufacturer of traditional linseed oil paints for wood, plaster and metal, represented in Poland by Baltic Paint.

The event will take place on Wednesday 25 January in the cinema hall at Stacja Falenica, starting at 6.30 pm.
