Another season of conservation and renovation works in Lviv (Ukraine) financed by programs of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

In 2025, the Association obtained grants and is embarking on the following tasks:

1. Emergency renovation of the roof of the dome of the Armenian Cathedral in Lviv, under which there is a painting from 1911 by Antoni Tuch. This is a continuation of work on the cathedral’s roofs. The amount of the grant is PLN 206,203.00.
2. Necessary conservation work on the north side altar in the Latin Cathedral in Lviv. This is the first stage of work on this altar and, at the same time, a continuation of conservation work on the altar complex in the cathedral (grant amount: PLN 217,875.00).
3. Emergency conservation and restoration work on two wall paintings depicting the sacraments in the seminary chapel in Lviv. This is a continuation of earlier work (grant amount: PLN 106,400.00).

We began the work by setting up extensive and complex scaffolding so that the renovation work covered by the application could be carried out safely for the monument on one of the cathedral’s roofs.
